Strengths: Above-average leadership qualities, skilled military strategist

Weaknesses: Slight tendency towards over-confidence

Weapons: Rat's Eyes (daggars)

An arrogant and domineering leader, Ratar-O visualises himself as an expert Mutant commander and military strategist, able to employ the right balance of brainpower and brute force to defeat his enemies. In reality Ratar-O is one of the ThunderCats' deadliest foes, but, like many of the Mutants, is undermined by his overconfidence and an inability to in any way endear himself to those serving under him. Ratar-O's greatest supporter would appear to be Vultureman, who served loyally with Ratar-O on more than one occasion, co-piloting the Mutant commander's signature vehicle, known as the Rat*Star.

The Feliner

Ratar-O journeyed to the planet of Snarfs and kidnapped Snarfer, Snarfs nephew. Ratar-O was joined by Vultureman, the only Mutant he showed any respect for, and he quickly removed S-S-Slythe from his position as leader of the Mutants. Recruiting the Mutants to assisst him, Ratar-O did battle with the Thundercats, but Lion-O was able to use the sword of Omens to destroy the RatStar.

While trying to repair his ship, Ratar-O came up against the Thundercats once again, who wanted the mega condenser from his ship. Ratar-O challenged Lion-O for the condenser, but was defeated.

Fond Memories

Mumm-Ra used an image of Ratar-O to fight Lion-O.

Thundercats Ho!

Ratar-O returned in the RatStar, which he had managed to repair. He kidnapped Snarf, and activated a large magnet of the underbelly of his ship which pulled the sword of Omens from Lion-Os hand, although the magnet was stopped by Snarf, Ratar-O dumped Lion-O on hook mountain. Mumm-Ra summoned Ratar-O to Fire rock Mountain, and Ratar-O reluctantly agreed to come, deciding to take the direct route through the Tuska settlement. The Tuskas attacked the RatStar, so Ratar-O stepped out to battle them while Vultureman made repairs, after finally getting back aboard, the repairs didn't last long, and the Rat Star plunged into a nearby river.
