The oldest and wisest of the "new" ThunderCats, all of the ThunderCats look to Lynx-O for insight into the many perilous situations they encounter. Possessed of a great clarity of vision, Lynx-O uses his blindness almost to his advantage, his lack of sight enabling him to always look beneath the surface for a situation's inner truth. Lynx-O's calm, rational personality provides the perfect counterpoint to Pumyra and Bengali's more rash, youthful temperaments, and as such is very much the vital link within their team.

Thundercats Ho!

Lynx-O, Pumyra and Bengali tried to board the Thundercats flagship as it left the dying planet of Thundera, but they were too late, an earthquake beginning meant that the ship had to leave immediately. Fortunately they were rescued by a nearby Berbil ship, the ship was damaged and crashed on Third Earth, on a desserted island where the Thunderians and Berbils made their new home. When Mumm-Ra discovered there were other Thunderians on Third Earth, he sent the Berzerkers to capture them, The Thunderians fought hard against them, but were ultimately captured. After being taken to fire rock Mountain, the Thunderians made a plan to escape, and managed to get away.

After reuniting with their fellow Thunderians, Lynx-O was the only one among his friends who knew that they had been saved by Lion-O, Lord of the Thundercats, and Lion-O made he, Pumyra and Bengali Thundercats.

Mumm-Ra Lives

Lynx-O was the only Thundercat ever to hear of the Lunataks, who he remembered as fearsome raiders from the moons of planet Plun Darr. Lynx-O used a device kn own only to him called a Braille Board to find out more about the Lunataks and to get the Thundercats inside the dangerous Dark side through the forest of mists. Lynx-O, together with Panthro, supervised the construction of the Thundercats newest base, The Tower of Omens, which would be used to keep a watch on the Lunataks and dark side, with the use of Lynx-O's braille board.

Lynx-O also found a mysterious talisman which he found out repelled evil after he and Cheetara were attacked in Mumm-Ra's pyramid, after he and Cheetara made it Sky Tomb, Lynx-O was able to save the other Thundercats by using the talisman against Mumm-Ra, when the Lunataks realised it hurt Mumm-Ra, they squabbled over who would posess it, and the Thundercats were able escape.

The Telepathy Beam

Lynx-O provided invaluable advice to Cheetara when she began to doubt her own abilities, telling her to listen to her heart instead of her mind, the advice was just what Cheetara neededm and she able to overcome her self doubt thanks to Lynx-O's counsel.

The Touch of Amortus

Realising the threat posed by the wise Lynx-O, Mumm-Ra ordered a being called the Amortus from the land of no return to destroy Lynx-O. While piloting the Thunderstrike, Lynx-O was attacked by the Amortus and the Thunderstrike crashed, after crashing the Amortus touched Lynx-O's face, and used his powers to make Lynx-O believe himself to be an outcast. Lynx-O left with the Amortus for the land of no return, when there, the Amortus again touched Lynx-O, and he began to turn to stone. But the other Thundercats were coming to rescue their friend, and Lion-O freed the other warriors kept prisonersd by Amortus, and they soon defeated their captor. Lynx-O was free, grateful to be back to his old self.
