"Before this day is over, Lion-O, you will face your greatest fear." Tygra in the trial of mind power, giving Lion-O the biggest help he could have asked for to win that one LOL
Tygra rules! Congrats! But the real question is why didn't we see him use his "mind powers" ever again for 130 episodes.
Thanks Blackwing! I was wondering why Liam didn't get it first LOL As for Tygra's mind powers, I have the theory that he used them again in "Day of the Eclipse". If you watch cafrefully, when he and Cheetara are fighting Tug-Mug and Red-Eye in the woods, Red-Eye sees an invisible Tygra hidden behind some bushes and throws one of his disks at him, but then Tygra reveals himself to have been hiding in another place. Why did Red-Eye see Tygra where he saw him? My guess is the mid power, but that was never aknowledged LOL Anyway, as for the new one, here it goes: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Letters used:
Plen-T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ T _ _ T T _ _ _! T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ T Letters used: T
And how dare you get it so fast! You ruined my fun! LOL Congrats Zax! When I was a kid and watched this episode for the first time, I thought Cheetara would slap Lion-O right there for saying that LOL
"Teeth Bared and Fur Flying" Safari Joe episode. One of the best episodes. (however, Tygra not being able to swim? )
That’s the one! When I was a kid, building ThunderTanks out of LEGOs, I always made sure my creations had a teeth-bared-and-fur-flying mode. You’re up, Blackwing!
I knew it was that quote but I couldn't look up the exact wording a my media player was updating! I too used to make Thundercats characters and vehicles out of Lego. I think my main concern with the Thundertank was that it could hold six characters and have an adjustable Cat-Blaster.
Yes! I remember putting the little chairs onto turntables so that the characters could swivel around in back. All my LEGOs are packed away at my parents’, including a Tank that I know I never took apart. I wonder if any of the characters I assembled are still intact—it would be fun to see how my childhood brain mapped cartoon to LEGO, given all the constraints of LEGO character designs. I definitely remember giving Lion-O brown hair for lack of red, haha. Somewhere I have a screenshot of a Feliner I built and then replicated in the LEGO Creator software in the late 90s. Let me see if I can find it... ETA: Found it! Apparently I photoshopped Panthro, Lynxo and Snarf into it, and added a little clipart ThunderTank, hahaha. So weird.
That's cool! I never took pictures of my Thundercats Lego creations, but I did also make and photograph my own Lego versions of the vehicles and characters from another of my favourite cartoons of the 80s, Visionaries: Knights Of The Magical Light (or just Visionaries for short, we covered it in ROCKS a few years ago). Check them out - and if you look up image of the show itself, you can compare!
