Notes:

The regular S-S-Slithe has black-ish/purple-ish spots and spikes. For some reason a number of S-S-Slithe figures came out a little different.

• These figures feature brown spots and spikes.
• The eyes are a light pink instead of the regular white.

FIGURE NOTES

This S-S-Slithe is basically the same as the “Brown Spots” S-S-Slithe figure, with one exception.

• The Battle Matic Action lever on the back of the figure is purple-ish black in color. The same as the regular S-S-Slithe figure.

This is not a one-of error, multiple loose and MOC examples have popped up.  It could mean that the “Brown Spots” S-S-Slithe was done earlier, maybe by mistake, and parts of that production run were combined with the a new, correct, run of S-S-Slithe figures.
