Notes of Interest:	When releasing ThunderCats, DC/Wildstorm would almost always publish two versions of each issue, identical inside but sporting different covers. The first cover would usually be drawn by the interior artist(s), whilst the second cover would often be by a unique or high-profile guest artist. This is the variant cover for ThunderCats Issue #2, pencilled by comics legend Jim Lee – Jim is famous for his work on many titles including the X-Men, and the influence of that superhero team is evident in this piece, which could almost be described as “Wolverine Lion-O”! This piece is one of the most unique we have featured, and has been valued at a staggering $2,500! This image was generously donated to us by original comic art collector and dealer Albert Moy.
