Notes of Interest:	Over the course of the numerous ThunderCats mini-series that the company would release, DC/Wildstorm would generally release two versions of each issue, identical inside but each with a different cover, a “regular” cover and a “variant” cover – the regular cover would usually be drawn by the art team who worked on the interior of the comic, whilst the variant cover would usually be drawn by a well-known guest artist, and would often feature some very interesting and unique interpretations of the ThunderCats. This piece is no exception, drawn by famed artist Rick Mays – Rick is best-known for the Japanese influence in his artwork, and it has to be said that this is one of his more American-influenced pieces. However, it is still possible to discern Rick’s own unique style from within this striking and exciting piece.
