Tight-cropped shell asset (the dark padding around the cardboard has been stripped, so the boxes sit flush naturally with no CSS overlap hacks). Every box has its own comic stack rendered into the trapezoid. All same size, touching at the bottom, no blur. Active distinguished by lead comic breakout + a touch more brightness. The asset itself is hot-swappable later, what we generate next can include side-wall depth, divider tabs, sticker tags, whatever else helps the comic-shop read.
Same size, same exposure, sitting flush. Active has the lead comic breaking forward and the gold label. The other two are full but quietly dimmed (brightness 0.7).
Two more boxes added at the edges, each darker than the inner pair. Row visibly extends past the frame. All same size, all full, no perspective tilt, just the row.
Adds a tilted concrete-ish floor plus a soft contact shadow under each box. Anchors the row in space, the boxes stop floating on a black field and start sitting on something.
Radial light pool centered above the active box, edges of the page falling off into darkness. Reads as a hanging shop lamp picking out the box you're digging through. Pure CSS gradient overlay, no asset work.
