Anyone in the UK (or even rest of Europe) still waiting for Jackalman? I got my first one shipped with my Club Grayskull Evil Lyn which arrived a couple weeks ago but my Jackalman that was shipped alone hasn't arrived :(

I am in Ohio and I just got mine. Both were in perfect condition. Great figure! I did notice with the Thundercats that the plastic on the figures seems gummier\bendier but they are well done. Hope all the Mutants turn out this well if Super7 can get the gig :)

I love my Jackalman figure which arrived yesterday. I'm a little surprised that he is so big in comparison to Lion-O. The pads on his shoulders aren't actually obvious - I mean, it doesn't stand out as being "not part of the figure". His weapons are ultra cool - I'm very impressed with Slithe's axe. Now to get S7 to bring us a Slithe would be fabulous. I'm loving this figure. Thanks Mattel, you did a great job with this one.

I discovered this last night: when rewatching the first episode of TC I saw that Jackalman also had his own axe! Unlike the description on the Matty website that stated the Jackalman figure came with Slithe's axe, it was interesting to see that in the first episode he had this weapon too! The final toy version comes very close to this. Only one issue is that on the opposite side of the blade portion there are small spikes. Other than that, the blade is really identical. Interesting right?

All of the mutants use these axes from time to time in the series. It's just one of their shared weapons.

It's like how you associate the Nose-Diver with Slithe because he used it the most, but the other Mutants still pilot it at times.

Picked up a Jackalman recently. Hadn't watched any reviews, so I didn't expect the calves to be reversed. Yup, universal problem...saw it on both copies of mine, and all fan/review pics online show the same assembly error.
Major pain in the butt, but I managed (with hot water) to swap the lower legs (needed to swap the feet as well), and now the figure is perfect. Probably near the top of my list of favorite figures from this small line.

Well with the eventual Super7 Thundercats Classic Ultimates arrival this year, it is nice to have this Mattel versions with all those flaws and imperfections. I hope to still complete my Mattel versions, those are nice by themselves.[IMG]

Theres is going to be quite a difference from the Super7 releases vs. the Mattel releases. Figure quality, package, accessory pack out (your losing a mumm-ra cape), etc...If someone is a completest you should have both. I debated keeping my mattel releases, or at least keeping the ones I knew were going to be drastic differently - I sold em off in the end.
And Brian confirmed that Jackalman will has his legs sorted out.

I missed out on Mattel, Super7 is nice enough to plan it well and start fresh regardless of what Mattel releases while being faithful to what Mattel releases (to be exact Super7 give as an option to skip if you already have the Mattel ones or an option to have both or the option to start with what Super7 makes).

I may not be able to complete this line but part of me likes to own the Mattel stuff Jackalman reverse calf with S7 correct calf, Tall Pumyra with shory Pumyra and Mattel Lion-O just because he is al Lion-O.

I'm waiting to see what we actually get before I decide what to do with the Mattel figures. But I'd like to not have redundant figures in the end.

Mattel made the Thundercats somehow like a "MOTUC sub line" by using the same buck, and now that both franchise are beautifully merged into one, that is one of the main why i want that Mattel first wave and continue with Super7 at least until the main and important support characters.

I’m keeping my Mattel figures. Already decided that the new S7 Panthro will be his clone from Spitting Image and I’ll display him with the angry face. I wish we’d gotten shoulder pads for Jackalman that are generic and without his armour so that he could’ve been displayed as a generic mutant. He looks too “thin” when you take that off. Strangely I prefer the cloak that we’re not getting from S7 for Mumm-Ra. I don’t know yet if I will display the extra duplicates of him and Lion-O but I think when vehicles and playsets arrive that it will be easy to put the second Panthro and Lion-O in the tank while keeping the team still together in their display area.
