The black-hearted jailer of the Astral Prison, Nemex delights in taunting his captives, particularly the wise elder ThunderCat Jaga, from whom Nemex longs to extract wisdom and knowledge. Despite his not inconsiderable powers, Nemex is not much of a warrior and, like many who delight in cruelty to others, is at his weakest when attacked directly. Nonetheless, his cruel and ruthless streak marks Nemex as one of the most unpleasant occupants of the Astral World.
