Notes of Interest:	This lovely two-page spread, drawn by the art team of penciller Ed Benes and inker Joe Pimentel, and featured in DC/Wildstorm’s mini-series ThunderCats: The Return, shows the striking image of Mumm-Ra’s Onyx Pyramid recreated in the heart of New Thundera, after Mumm-Ra succeeded in conquering the planet. Although the image on page 14 looks like a giant Mumm-Ra and Ma-Mutt overlooking the planet, in fact it’s a statue, designed to illustrate Mumm-Ra’s dominance over the Thunderians by having them erect a statue in his honour. The picture of this page was donated to us by original comic art collector Chris Nelson – Chris was kind enough to send us a very large-sized version of the page, which can be viewed by clicking on the image above!
