Mezco showed a 5 Points ThunderCats set at San Diego Comic-Con on 23 July 2026. Seven pieces at 3.75 inches with five points of articulation: Lion-O with the Sword of Omens and Claw Shield, Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living, the decayed Mumm-Ra and Ma-Mutt, each on a display stand. No price, no format and no release date have been announced. It is the affordable end of Mezco return to ThunderCats; the One:12 Collective is the premium end.

The Set
All seven pieces
A complete core roster for a first wave: four heroes, both forms of Mumm-Ra, and the demon bulldog. Descriptions are read off the stand photographs.
Lion-O
Centre of the display with the Sword of Omens raised and the Claw Shield sculpted around his fist, the yellow gauntlet and white claws fanning outward. Red mane up, gold fur, the blue tunic and white belt reduced to their cleanest cartoon shapes.
Tygra
The blue leotard carries a tonal shift between the lighter torso and the deeper blue on the legs, with tiger stripes across the face and arms. His whip is moulded with real movement in it, curving upward to a small weighted tip.
Cheetara
Orange and yellow leotard, and a voluminous wind-swept hair sculpt that frames the face, with subtle spotted markings across the forehead. Rounded orange boots faithful to the cartoon, and a clean ThunderCats insignia on the chest.
Panthro
Blue-grey skin in a cooler, almost silvery tone than Mumm-Ra, with spiked shoulder studs adding an aggressive edge to the streamlined harness and belt. The belt emblem pops in rich red and black against all that grey.
Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living
The big presence of the set. An ornate serpent-crowned helmet with dual curved horns and a gold cobra crest, the red Mumm-Ra insignia crisp against blue-grey skin, and a dark navy cape trimmed in red where it meets the gold belt and brown boot armour.
Mumm-Ra, decayed form
The mummy. Layered bandage wrapping carries real sculptural depth, individual strips overlapping and creating texture from head to toe, under a heavy crimson cloak and hood.
Ma-Mutt
Mumm-Ra demon bulldog, squat and low beside him, with muted blue-grey skin, pointed tan horns and a thin red collar. A pack-in scaled to the line rather than a full figure.

Two Tiers
5 Points or One:12 Collective?
Mezco came back to ThunderCats at both ends of the range in the same weekend, and the two lines are not competing with each other. 5 Points is 3.75 inches, five points of articulation, a stylised sculpt and a price aimed at people who just want the gang on a shelf. The One:12 Collective Lion-O is roughly 6 inches with a tailored cloth costume, thirty-plus points of articulation and a full accessory load-out, at several times the money.
The interesting part is that 5 Points gives you the whole roster immediately, while One:12 has shown exactly one character. If you want Mumm-Ra, Panthro and Cheetara on the shelf this year, 5 Points is currently the only Mezco route to them.

What is Mezco 5 Points?
It is Mezco stylised budget line: 3.75 inch figures with five points of articulation, in the spirit of the vintage Kenner and LJN scale. Mezco has used the format for Universal Monsters, TMNT, Popeye and others. It sits at the opposite end of the range from the One:12 Collective, which is the premium tier.
How much does the Mezco 5 Points ThunderCats set cost?
Mezco has not announced a price. 5 Points figures generally sell around the low twenties as singles and rather more as a boxed set, but no ThunderCats price has been quoted and the format has not been confirmed.
Is it a box set or single figures?
Not confirmed. The SDCC display showed all seven pieces together under a ThunderCats Set banner, which points at a boxed set, but Mezco has published nothing. 5 Points has shipped both ways on other properties.
Which characters are in it?
Seven pieces were displayed: Lion-O with the Sword of Omens and Claw Shield, Tygra with his whip, Cheetara, Panthro, Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living, the decayed mummy form of Mumm-Ra, and Ma-Mutt. That is a complete core roster for a first wave.
When is the release date?
Not announced. The display card read Coming Soon with no window attached, and no pre-order is open.
How is this different from the One:12 Collective ThunderCats?
Completely different tiers. 5 Points is 3.75 inches with five points of articulation and a stylised sculpt. One:12 Collective is roughly 6 inches with a tailored cloth costume, thirty-plus points of articulation, swap portraits and a full accessory load-out, at several times the price. Mezco showed both at the same convention.
Do the figures come with stands?
Each figure on the SDCC stand sat on a matching black display stand, which is a welcome inclusion at five points of articulation. Treat it as displayed rather than confirmed until Mezco publishes the contents.
