ThunderCats at SDCC 2026

July 23 to 26, 2026, with Preview Night on Wednesday, July 22, San Diego Convention Center

Super7 and Mezco both had ThunderCats at SDCC 2026. Super7 sold two figures at its booth and showed a third it has not yet put on sale; Mezco showed a 5 Points set and a One:12 Collective Lion-O.

Super7 announced two booth exclusives on July 15: Lion-O and Mumm-Ra ULTIMATES! figures in the vintage LJN toy colors, both with light-up LED eyes, sold at booth #2343 with a manga-style ThunderCats tee and a Cat's Lair enamel pin.
Both figures reached Super7's own store on July 28 at the booth prices, $75 for Lion-O and $95 for Mumm-Ra. Our September 11 review, by Egmond of We Want More ThunderCats, found the vintage-style cardback to be the reason to own them.
On July 22 Super7 revealed an all-new ULTIMATES! Astral Moat Monster, 14 inches tall with 7 points of articulation, vintage-inspired packaging and a $195 MSRP. It was a display piece at the booth, Super7 said it arrives this fall, and no pre-order was live. Our toy page still lists it as announced.
Mezco had a 5 Points ThunderCats set on its stand: Lion-O, Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, Mummy Mumm-Ra and Ma-Mutt, with Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living on display beside them. The placard read Coming Soon, and when we reported it Mezco had published no price or spec sheet.
On July 24 Mezco showed its first One:12 Collective ThunderCats figure, Lion-O with the Sword of Omens raised, at booth 3045. The placards read Coming Soon and Pending Licensor Approval, the figure was a prototype, and there was no price or date.
After the show, in October, Mezco followed with a RumbleCon reveal card that prints no name. Our story reads the blue-grey skin and heavy brow as Panthro, and the card carries no price or date either.

Where will SDCC 2027 be held?
