Soap Studio's ThunderCats Classic replica set pairs an 82cm Sword of Omens with a 36cm Claw Shield gauntlet, both cast in soft vinyl. Display scale rather than steel: it is the only ThunderCats replica that gives you Lion-O's sword and glove together at near full size. Pre-order, estimated Q1 2027. Soap Studio’s contribution to the Sword of Omens shelf is the first one that treats the Claw Shield as an equal partner rather than an accessory. The sword runs 82cm point to pommel and the gauntlet stands 36cm tall, both moulded in soft vinyl and finished in the flat, saturated colours of the 1985 cartoon rather than a weathered “real steel” look. The hilt carries the Eye of Thundera as a red cabochon with the cat crest cut into it, and the gauntlet has the three studded discs across the knuckles and the white claw tips.
Soft vinyl is the trade-off. It buys you the size and it buys you the price, and it costs you the heft of Factory Entertainment’s cast metal pieces. Soap Studio notes that the vinyl can distort slightly with temperature and can be reshaped with a hair dryer on low heat.

Before you pre-order
Four things the product images do not make obvious.
- The clear stand is not included. Every promotional image shows the sword resting on a transparent A-frame and the gauntlet propped on a riser. Soap Studio’s own artwork carries the line “This product does not include the transparent stand.” You are buying two pieces, not a display set.
- These are prototype renders. The packaging art states “Prototype shown, not final. Final product will subject to licensor’s approval,” and that part of the product is hand made, so exact details may vary between pieces.
- Pre-order terms. Estimated arrival is Q1 2027 and BBTS requires a non-refundable down payment of $12.90 at checkout, with the balance due when the item ships.
- The listed price includes a US tariff surcharge. BBTS is the importer of record and pays that tariff when the goods land in the United States, so it is baked into the price wherever the box eventually ships. Ordering to Canada, the UK or anywhere else outside the US does not remove it, and you will owe your own country’s duties and taxes on top. BBTS confirms the final price before charging your card, and you can cancel at that point.
