Super7 revealed an all-new ThunderCats ULTIMATES! Astral Moat Monster at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, and it is a creature-scale showpiece: 14 inches tall, 7 points of articulation, shipping in vintage-inspired packaging that nods to the 1986 LJN release.
The Astral Moat Monster is the Evil Guardian of the Mystical Prison from the 1985 episode “The Astral Prison.” The vintage LJN version was one of the boldest pieces in the line: a big, heavy, standalone creature with a one-off mold and no shared parts, the kind of centerpiece that dominated a toy shelf. Forty years later, Super7 is making it the flagship collector piece.
The MSRP is $195, and it was shown as a display-only piece at the SDCC 2026 booth. The exact on-sale date is still to come, and there is no live pre-order yet, so the move is to sign up at Super7.com for the drop alert.
