The countdown to Thunder-Con begins!

Thunder-Con, the first ever ThunderCats fan convention dedicated to the classic 1980’s series and the recent reimagining for 2011, is fast approaching! We just wanted to tell fans about all the great stuff coming your way at this exciting event! Not only does the convention cover ThunderCats, but it also covers the worlds of He-Man and She-Ra as well, since both Power-Con and Thunder-Con take place at the same venue! So twice as much stuff for 80’s cartoon fans to see at one event!

The convention takes place at**: Four Points By Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport, 9750 Airport Blvd**

Los Angeles, CA 90045. The convention takes place the weekend of the 24th September and runs through Saturday-Sunday. Passes for the convention cost $25 for one day or $40 for both days. Kids 12 or under get in free!

ThunderCats related guests at the convention are set to include:

LARRY KENNEY

The voice of Lion-O from the original ThunderCats cartoon and the voice of Claudius, Lion-O’s and Tygra’s Father, in the new ThunderCats cartoon.

GERRIANNE RAPHAELMs. Raphael is an actress who provided the voices for Chilla, Pumyra, and Jaguara on the original ThunderCats cartoon series.

MATTHEW MERCER

Mr. Mercer will be provides the voice for Tygra in the brand new ThunderCats cartoon set that debuted on Cartoon Network this past July.

Vendors are to include Zoloworld, AFX (with an exclusive Mumm-Ra staction from Icon Heroes!) and ToysandToons.com!
