About This Figure

14-inch Panthro, third release in the Mezco Mega Scale ThunderCats line. Seven points of articulation, signature blue-and-red chained fighting sticks (the nunchucks), and an alternate open-pose left hand for variant display. Not produced as a SDCC exclusive variant, single production run only.

The third figure in the Mezco Mega Scale ThunderCats line, released 2012.

Panthro at 14 inches with seven points of articulation, holding his signature chained fighting sticks. Mezco rendered the chain-linked nunchucks in their original blue-and-red colorway, joined by a silver chain. An alternate open-pose left hand swaps in for hero display. Sculpted by Jean St. Jean, painted in the muted Rankin/Bass television palette so he scales naturally next to the 2011 Lion-O and 2012 Mumm-Ra.

Unlike Lion-O and Mumm-Ra, Panthro never received a SDCC variant or GITD reissue. Single production run only, which makes him the most consistently scarce of the four core ThunderCats Mega Scale releases.

Out of print since 2012. Sealed window-box copies trend $100-$170 on the secondary market; loose figures in the $60-$110 range.
