Super7 ThunderCats ULTIMATES Wave 16: Cartoon Jackalman, Top-Spinner and Tug-Mug Are Up for Pre-Order

Super7's cartoon Jackalman, Top-Spinner and Tug-Mug are on pre-order at Big Bad Toy Store for $64.99 each, estimated December 2026, and Super7's own photographs are out. Here is what is in each box.

Super7 ThunderCats ULTIMATES Wave 16: Cartoon Jackalman, Top-Spinner and Tug-Mug Are Up for Pre-Order

Three more ThunderCats ULTIMATES are open for pre-order at Big Bad Toy Store: Jackalman in his cartoon colours, Top-Spinner and Tug-Mug. Each is $64.99 with an estimated arrival of December 2026, and BBTS says the date is an estimate rather than a promise.1

Super7 has now published its own photographs of all three, so the figures on this page are the real thing. Toy Habits, which first reported the set on 26 October, calls it Wave 16.2 Super7 has not confirmed the number, so treat it as a working name.

What is in each box

Big Bad Toy Store lists the contents of all three, and each ships in a standard ULTIMATES window box.3

  • Jackalman: two alternate heads, three pairs of hands, a club, an axe, a blaster and a rock.
  • Top-Spinner: an alternate head, a pair of hands, a mace and a shield.
  • Tug-Mug: an alternate head, two pairs of hands, a blaster and a broken Sword of Omens.

The broken sword is the detail worth the price of admission. Tug-Mug snaps the Sword of Omens over his own head in Mumm-Ra Lives! Part II, and Super7 has built that moment into the figure, with the blade in two glow-in-the-dark pieces.

Two characters without a modern figure

Top-Spinner and Tug-Mug have never had an ULTIMATES, and only Jackalman is a repeat. Top-Spinner is a Berserker, one of the crew Leonard Starr invented for ThunderCats HO!. LJN made him in 1986 in Series 2 and Playful reissued him for Argentina, but he has never had a modern figure. Super7 has already done Hammerhand and Cruncher.

Tug-Mug is the Lunatak with the Gravity Carbine, and our toy records show no earlier figure of him from LJN or anyone else. Alluro, Chilla, Luna, Amok and Red-Eye all have ULTIMATES already, so with Tug-Mug the set of six is complete.

Super7 already made Jackalman in Wave 1. The new one is painted in the cartoon colours, with a different set of accessories.

Footnotes

  1. Read on the Big Bad Toy Store listings on 28 October: each shows PRE-ORDER, estimated to arrive December 2026, at $64.99, with a note that the product is not in stock and ships on arrival. ↩

  2. Toy Habits’ own wording is that the figures “appear to be” Wave 16, so the number is its inference rather than Super7’s. ↩

  3. The box contents are as printed on the Big Bad Toy Store listings. Each listing also says other figures shown in the photographs are not included. ↩
