Every Wave 15 ULTIMATES Is Under Super7's Own Price on Amazon, Until Tonight

All four Wave 15 figures and the Tygra reissue carry Amazon deal badges, each one below what Super7 charges for the same figure on its own store. The event ends tonight.

Every Wave 15 ULTIMATES Is Under Super7's Own Price on Amazon, Until Tonight

Super7’s discounts usually land on the early waves, and this afternoon all four Wave 15 figures are carrying deal badges on Amazon while Super7 charges full price for the same four on its own store.

Jagara, Wizz-Ra and Mumm-Ra (Old Man) are $49.99 each on Amazon this afternoon, against the $65.00 Super7 charges for each of them. Zaxx is $68.49 where Super7 wants $85.00. All four carry a “Limited time deal” badge, and all four are sitting in stock on Super7’s own storefront at full price as we write.1

Tygra’s reissue is the fifth, at $48.99 against Super7’s $65.00. He is the only one here that is not Wave 15, and he is also the cheapest thing on the list.

Jagara moved overnight

On Monday Jagara’s search result read $49.99 while her own product page read $63.13, and a reader who clicked through from that search result would have paid the higher one. Today the product page itself reads $49.99 with the badge on it, so she is the one we would buy first. She is the last of the original core ThunderCats to get a figure, and Egmond’s hands-on look at the wave is worth reading before you commit to her.

The advice from Monday still stands even though her number moved: open the figure’s own page rather than buying from the search results. Search results and the page a reader actually buys from do not always agree, and on this line they have now disagreed in both directions inside two days.

Two from the back catalogue that Super7 cannot sell you at all

Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living is $42.99 on Amazon against a $78.99 list. Nothing else on the line is cut that hard today. Go and look at him first! Hammerhand is $43.02 against $57.99. But neither of them is really a Super7 comparison, because Super7’s own store is out of every version of the Ever-Living and out of Hammerhand as well.

Hammerhand’s listing also showed “Only 20 left in stock” when we read it. A stock line moves during an event, so treat it as what the page said this afternoon rather than a count that will hold.

Every price above was read off the product page this afternoon with the Add to Cart button live, and every Super7 price came from Super7’s own storefront on the same pass.

Amazon’s event ends tonight.

Footnotes

  1. Amazon’s badge reads “Limited time deal” and does not name the event, and the same badge turns up on ordinary short promotions, so a badge on its own does not prove a price is tied to the October sale. Amazon’s newsroom gives the event as 6 and 7 October, Prime members only. ↩
