Shark Week on Third Earth: The Black Widow Shark Custom Is Back

It’s Shark Week! What better way to celebrate than with a chance to order a popular custom figure of Third Earth’s menacing Black Widow Shark? Staff contributor, Nick Carver, has just announced a limited restock of his custom made Black Widow Sharks in three sizes. Preorders are open through DM on his Instagram page, @nickfromthundera.

Nick’s custom figures have been featured in Sean McKeone’s book Thunder-Verse. He creates the figures in three sizes to pair perfectly with the Super7 Ultimates! line, the vintage LJN toys, and the Kidworks or Super7 ReAction mini figures. The Ultimates! and LJN sizes both feature light up eyes while the Kidworks size has eyes that glow in the dark. All three even sport the vintage style “Battle-Matic” action features with chomping jaws. The Black Widow Shark is a fan favorite beast from the original ThunderCats cartoon. Created by Peter Lawrence, the character is a notable foe for all who dwell on Third Earth. She ruthlessly attacks anyone who dares to cross the River of Despair. Lion-O and Snarf barely escaped her fearsome jaws as she attacked the Bridge of Light in her first appearance episode, The Time Capsule.
