Super7's Brian Flynn Takes the Stage at NYCC Thursday: What It Could Mean for ThunderCats

Super7 founder Brian Flynn is on stage at New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 8 at 3 PM ET.

Super7’s Instagram account says Flynn is sitting down with Esoteric of CZARFACE during Walmart Collector Con at NYCC, and that they will be talking toys, collecting and all things Super7. The post is tagged to the Javits Center and to TalkShopLive, which suggests the session will be streamed, but we have not confirmed that. It is not billed as a ThunderCats panel.

What does Super7 have open for ThunderCats?

Super7 makes the ThunderCats ULTIMATES and DELUXE figures. The ULTIMATES! Wave 15 pre-order, with Jagara, Zaxx, Wizz-Ra and Mumm-Ra (Old Man), went live in March, and the DELUXE line is on its fourth wave.

The Astral Moat Monster is still waiting on pre-orders: Super7 showed the 14-inch ULTIMATES figure at San Diego Comic-Con in July at $195, said it arrives this fall and asked fans to sign up for updates, and as far as we have seen it has not opened them since.

Our conjecture

This is our guess and Super7 has said none of it. Convention stages are where Super7 tends to reveal product, so we think it is plausible that Flynn mentions further ULTIMATES and DELUXE waves, and that the Astral Moat Monster gets a release date or goes on sale. If any of it is true, it goes on the NYCC 2026 hub the same day, with the source.
