Super7 DELUXE Wave 5 Turns Up Early: Mumm-Ra The Ever-Living, Vultureman and Panthro
A UK toy shop posted Super7's next DELUXE wave early: Mumm-Ra The Ever-Living, Vultureman and Panthro, passed to us by Egmond of We Want More ThunderCats.
A toy shop in the UK put photographs of Super7’s next ThunderCats DELUXE wave online before Super7 had announced it, and Egmond of We Want More ThunderCats, who is on the thundercats.org team, sent them in. The pictures show Mumm-Ra The Ever-Living, Vultureman and Panthro, each on a black DX Deluxe card, the wave after Wave 4.
The photographs show the three figures sealed on their cards 1.
The three figures
Mumm-Ra The Ever-Living
A gold-crested helmet with two snake-headed horns, a screaming mouth, white wraps looped across a teal chest with an orange emblem at the center, and a blue and orange wrap skirt with yellow trim. A small bag of loose parts sits in the tray beside his right hand, and the pictures do not show what is in it.
Vultureman
Vultureman is bare-chested under a brown feathered mantle, with a pleated navy kilt and a brown belt with a blue buckle. A blue blaster sits in the tray beside him. The yellow beak and the white brow patch are visible through the blister.
Panthro
Panthro is grey, with the blue spiked harness crossing his chest, the ThunderCats emblem on his belt, blue boots and a white wristband on one arm. A red piece and a blue piece sit in the tray by his boots, and neither is identifiable from the photographs. His card carries the ThunderCats emblem in the roundel where Mumm-Ra and Vultureman have the Mutants' snake.
What we do not know yet
Super7 has given no price, no release date and no accessory list, and nothing in the photographs says whether the wave will also come as a multipack. Wave 4, the last wave out, lists at $34.99 a figure on Big Bad Toy Store. The three product pages get updated the day Super7 puts numbers on them.
What you can order today
Wave 4 is the part of this line you can buy now. Big Bad Toy Store lists Mumm-Ra (Old Man), Ghost Jaga and Lion-O (Mirror) at $34.99 each, and all three were in stock when we checked this morning. Super7’s own store has no Wave 5 listing yet.
