Dan Norton is the creative instigator who kept pushing for a revival of the ThunderCats franchise at Warner Brothers. He was the Art Director of the 2011 animated series and created or oversaw the creation of the character, vehicle, location designs.
Dan was central to the overarching storyline and the creative choices made for the show. We’re very happy to announce that Dan has agreed to answer your questions about the ThunderCats series and about Dan and his continued adventures.

when and how did you plan to introduce Bengali into the show (if ever)?
-What was the FOURTH Stone of Power going to be???????
-Were the Silverhawks going to appear???? (since Monstar was shown)
-Was Hachiman going to appear????
-What was Mum-Ra's true origin???
When will you announce next season of Thundercats ?
How far to you have plotted out?
Were the Lunataks going to appear in future seasons?
Were there going to be humans on 3rd Earth like in the original series?
Was Mumm-ra the sole remain member of his race or some kind of exile? If not were we ever going to meet them (maybe hunting him down)
Were we ever going to see the different homeworlds of the animals (races) Mumm-ra used?
What was it all going to lead to? What was the endgame of the Ancient Spirits?
What were your thought process in developing the characters for this version? how id you approach it?
How did you get started in the industry? What are you working on now/ next?

Why were the Eye of Thundera symbols not used for the show, instead leaving weird open red patches, but which were filled in on the figures?
Why was there no intro/outro sequence animation, just a quick orchestral riff of the original theme and a shot of the logo?
