Cheetara #3 Opens for Pre-Order, Plus Her Other Comics and Where to Buy Them

Saladin Ahmed's third issue reaches shops November 18 and Dynamite is taking orders now. Here is where the rest of her comics stand, from the 2024 miniseries to #4.

Cheetara #3 Opens for Pre-Order, Plus Her Other Comics and Where to Buy Them

ThunderCats: Cheetara #3 is open for pre-order at Dynamite and reaches comic shops on Wednesday, November 18. Saladin Ahmed writes it and Andrea Arcari draws it, at $4.99. Cheetara and Bay, sworn enemies, agree to a truce long enough to chase a trail of clues about where the Sixth Sense came from. Dynamite’s solicitation says what they find changes how Cheetara sees the Mu’Tants, and how she sees herself.

Alessandro Miracolo took over cover A with #2, and his #3 throws Cheetara forward through a shower of rubble with the ThunderCats emblem behind her and her staff in hand. John Amor, Pasquale Qualano and Vincenzo Federici take covers B, C and D, and cover E is a piece of animation art showing Tygra. Qualano’s C is the one we would grab first, Cheetara diving straight out of the emblem with speed lines bursting around her. Each piece of art also comes as a retailer-incentive virgin with the logo and lettering stripped off, and the virgins are what you see in the picture at the top of this page.

The rest of the Ahmed run

Issues #1 and #2 are already in shops, and MyComicShop has copies of both. #1 came out on September 9 and starts Cheetara hearing voices that contradict the Book of Omens and speak well of the Mu’Tants. #2 followed on October 21 and puts her in a jungle with an old foe, the two of them after the same scriptures that have gone missing from the Book.

Before Ahmed

Ahmed’s run is Cheetara’s first ongoing series. Her first title came in 2024, when Soo Lee wrote and Domenico Carbone drew a ThunderCats: Cheetara miniseries that ran monthly from July to November. It is set before Thundera fell, when Cheetara was a young noblewoman keeping her visions of the past and the future to herself, and by #5 she is preparing with Jaga for the catastrophe she can see coming. Cover A of every issue is in stock at MyComicShop. Dynamite collected the run in 2025 in paperback and hardcover, and MyComicShop has no hardcover in stock.

Then came ThunderCats: Cheetara: Worldbreaker in September 2025, a 40-page one-shot by Nate Cosby, then Dynamite’s ThunderCats editor, and David Cousens, who now draws the main ThunderCats book. It goes back to Thundera’s golden age, when the Sixth Sense was new to Cheetara and frightening, and turns on the discovery of who else shares her link to it. Worldbreaker shows the power arriving, and #3 sends her looking for where it came from, so the two read well side by side.
